Hello, I don't think the leaderboard is an accurate representation of who is doing the most here in a week right now. It is only about the quantity and not the quality. Many TV edits are a lot easier to get to than others. Some chinese adding his 5000 episode soap will get 3000 edits together in half an hour by just clicking on one spot. If you compare it to edits on movies and people, there (movies & people) is a lot of research involved and each edit is well thought out.

Something else: Edits of deleted items shouldn't be taken into account in the rankings (I don't know if that's not the case anyway).

  • You might want to consider a point system like:
  1. 1 movie edit: 4 points
  2. 1 people edit: 3 points
  3. 1 TV edit: 1 point
  • or only take the edits of the main edit history, so without season and episode history.
  • or be able to switch between all/movies/TV/people like you're able to at the profiles of contributors
  • or to not take TV edits into account in the first place since this is The Movie Database
  • or a max percentage of tv edits are taken into account. Example: You have 100 tv, 100 movie and 100 people edits. With the current system you'd have 300. With a max percentage of 20 it'll be calculated as follows -> 20% of 200(movie+people+Other) are 40, so 240 edits are on the leaderboard. Anothe rexample: 3000 tv, 2 movie and 24 people edits: 3026 in total. 20% of 3000 it are 600. + 26 gives you 626 edits for the leaderboard.
  • or you have to reach a certain % of no-tv-edits to be able to take tv edits into account

P.S.: The review button is completely broken now. everything gets thrown all over the place.
